Drs. Michael Salvatore and Vicki Nejtek-Salvatore recently presented their latest research on biomarker relevance in Parkinson's Disease in Houston at the 6th Pan American Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Congress.  This event was attended by 500 researchers and clinicians, presenting 22 countries from both North and South America.  Their presentation was selected as a late-breaking abstract, entitled "Cross-species discovery of a serum-to-CNS link showing the neural impact of moderate intensity aerobic exercise on Parkinson's disease resilience and recovery".   They met new colleagues and very much enjoyed the variety of presentations in highly relevant research areas, including clinical trials in growth factor therapy, biomarkers, and promising pharmacological treatments to improve motor function.
